SAT – Day 1. San Salvador

SUN -Day 2.San Salvador
Breakfast.
Departure to star the city tour, we will visit the monuments, places and important buildings as the Metropolitan Cathedral, National Palace and National Theatre, located in the heart of San Salvador. We will also visit the Museum of the Image and the Word, which is aimed at the time of the civil war in El Salvador, which lasted 12 years up to 1992 when The Peace Accords were signed as a result of negotiations between the government and the guerrillas and with the intervention of the UN.Visit the Crafts Market and one of the malls in San Salvador; in the evening we will go to Los Planes de Renderos, where there is a spectacular panoramic view of San Salvador lighted at night. MON – Day 3. San Salvador – Suchitoto
Breakfast
. Departure to the Department of Cuscatlan, where we will visit towns as San Sebastian, a city dedicated to weaving thread into textiles using a loom. After this visit, we will go to Ilobasco, characterized by handicrafts in clay. We will finish our tour in Suchitoto, in Nahuat language it means «Place of flower bird,” this having been a town founded by the colonizers and even retains its cultural and architectural heritage. TUE – Day 4. Suchitoto – Apaneca
Breakfast. Departure to start a tour boat at Suchitlan Lake, there we will visit the Island of The Birds. Then we will visit the Santa Lucia Church, built in 1853. Visit the Alejandro Coto´sHouse/Museum, where there is a small art gallery with more than 130 quite old paintings, a library with 200 years existence books. Then we continue the park where we can see and appreciate the fabulous and impressive Suchitlán Lake, which was formed in 1973, as a result of the construction of the Cerrón Grande hydroelectric dam on the Lempa River cause. In the afternoon, we will drive to the archaeological discovery of greater importance over the past 50 years throughout Latin America, Joya de Ceren, declared World Heritage by the UNESCO. This site on the Maya Route was preserved by the ashes of the eruption of the volcano Laguna Caldera 1400 years ago, where we can see the way of life of our ancestors, which is very important in the Maya Route, also known as Mesoamerican route. When we finish this visit, we will move to San Andres, ceremonial center where we can appreciate several pyramids, some mounds and Historical Museum. Transfer to Apaneca. Accommodation.

WED – Day 5. Apaneca – San Salvador
Breakfast,
This day we will go to the route of flowers and coffee, starting with a walk into the Gordinflones or Monoliths of Santa Leticia, very old archaeological vestiges; then we will visit the Finca El Carmen, where we learn the entire process of coffee, from planting to selection to become one of the most exquisite gourmet coffees, we will have a taste of it. Then we will continue our visit by he town of Ataco, which is pre-Columbian, visit here the church and craft shops in the area, then we will drive to Juayúa, where we will visit the church of Cristo Negro (Black Christ), the park and handicraft shops, then we will visit Nahuizalco. Nahuizalco meaning “the Four Izalcos,” visit the church and some of the handicraft shops, characterized by work in wood and reeds. Return to San Salvador. Overnight.

THU -Day 6. San Salvador – Airport.
Breakfast at the hotel and at the time indicated transfer to the airport.
