Day 01: Arrival
Welcome to Peru!!! Upon arrival, reception by our representative and transfer to the hotel.
Overnight in Lima (Hotel Casa Andina Select Miraflores)
Day 02: Lima City Tour
Today we’ll take a trip to the essential Lima, “The City of Kings” including the most important architectural icons of the city, such as the Main Square, where you can find the Government Palace, the City Hall, the Cathedral and the Archbishop’s Palace. Then, we continue with a visit to the San Francisco Convent, an architectonic jewel dating back to the 16th century. On our way to the modern area of the city, we will cross the exclusive district of San Isidro, the new financial heart of the city. Finally, we conclude our circuit in Miraflores, where we will visit the “Parque del Amor” (Love Park) an excellent spot to enjoy a great view of the Pacific Ocean.

Day 03: Lima – Cuzco
Breakfast. At the schedule time, transfer from the hotel to the airport to take your flight to Cuzco. Upon arrival in Cusco, reception by our representative and transfer to the hotel. The rest of the morning is at leisure to get acclimated to the altitude. During the afternoon, we’ll take an essential city tour Cuzco. We start our trip visiting the Santo Domingo Convent, built over the Koricancha, and ancient Inca palace and main worship center of the Sun God. Later, we will stop at the Main Square, where you can find the Cathedral and the beautiful Church of La Compañía. Continuing with the tour, we will visit the Sacsayhuaman Fortress, imposing sample of military Inca architecture. Finally, we will take a look at the archaeological sites of Qenko, Puca-Pucara and Tambomachay, located north east of the city.

Day 04: Machu Picchu
You will visit one of the most important energetic centers of the world: Machu Picchu. The excursion will be by train and during the trip we will have an amazing view of the landscapes of the Sacred Valley of Urubamba. Upon arrival to Aguas Calientes, our representatives will assist you to board the bus which will take you to the citadel. It will be an unforgettable experience, where a professional tour guide will transmit the history around this mysterious and charming place. After the guided tour, free time to explore the zone on your own. During the afternoon, you’ll board the bus to Aguas Calientes station to board the train back to Cuzco.

Day 05: Cusco – Puno
Early departure to Puno. To get to Puno from Cusco, you will take a comfortable bus, a nice way of enjoying the beautiful setting that is southern Cusco. On the itinerary is a stop at the village of Andahuaylillas, where you will see an actual architectural masterpiece: a 17th century church, the finely painted interior walls of which will astound you. Afterwards, you will tour the Incan archeological site of Raqchi, renowned for its massive temple to the god Viracocha. The final two destinations are Pucara and the La Raya Pass, the natural border between the departments of Cusco and Puno. Scheduled arrival in the city is sometime in the afternoon.

Day 06: Uros and Taquile Islands
Today will be a full day excursion on Lake Titicaca, the world’s highest navigable lake at 3808 m, and you will visit its main attraction: the floating Uros Islands, which lay just 6 km off the Puno Bay. 35 minutes from these is Taquile Island, where the community will, after giving you a traditional welcome, show you their customs, like their traditional and colorful outfits, and teach you what the knitted patterns mean. From this spot, the views become even better. The color of the lake turns a deeper blue, and the setting takes on an even more special mood.

Day 07: Puno – Lima
At the schedule time, transfer to Juliaca airport (1 hour from Puno) to take your flight to Lima and connect with your international flight. On the way we will stop at the Sillustani archeological site, famous for its «chullpas», circular stone burial towers. They are 12 meters high and were used by the Collas and the Incas. The site is located on the shores of Lake Umayo, the scenery of which only intensifies the beauty of this mystical, lovely place.
